What is a short strategy?

This strategy is opposite to a long trading bot. A short trade sells coins that are expected to fall in value at a higher price with the intent of buying the same amount back, but at an even lower price — this leaves you with the same amount of cryptocurrency plus the profit made.

Example:

Pair: USDT-BTC

You expect BTC to fall in price. Bot buys some USDT and puts a take profit order according to your take profit % and includes the fee.

It waits until BTC’s price falls to the calculated target and buys it back.

As a result, you get the same amount of BTC back plus profit in USDT.

Note: to start a short strategy bot, you need to have base coin on your balance. (BTC in this case).
